Kisaragi Ryūta 如月竜太
Age - 26
Occupation - Senior Editor Assistant, Asahi Shimbun (lit. 'morning sun newspaper', English: Asahi News)

Biography
Ryūta has been a(n) editor for the Asahi Shimbun for two years following a successful internship. His office is located on the 4th floor of the Tokyo Division Headquarters in Chūō. Frequently visits the Fukuoka and Osaka locations for meetings and/or training.
He doesn't particularly like his new position in editorial. Coming from a background of internal audits and data management, he was never aiming to work directly with the journalists. When the previous editor-in-chief's assistant quit unexpectedly, Ryūta received a call from HR regarding his immediate transfer. Nishiyama, the current senior, was impressed with his work, and thought he would be a perfect fit as an editor.
Before moving to the center of Tokyo, he used to live in Sangenjaya with his fiance. However, things ended prematurely. Now, he lives in a small studio apartment close to the office. Shorter commute, later nights.
Personality
His flat expression goes hand in hand with his direct manner of speaking. He says things how they are, and doesn't hold back how he is feeling. Some people hate his blunt behavior, but others find it genuine and honest.
Despite his stoic composure, Ryūta does has a playful side and loves to tease, but rarely realizes when he’s crossed a line. Half the time, he’s oblivious to how easily his offhand remarks fluster people. It’s never meant maliciously; It's just who he is.
Likes
Good puns, Finishing his work before a deadline, Drinking after work.
Dislikes
Mentaiko, Working overtime, Liars.

Drunk phonecalls equating to "spiritual healing" is a stretch, but he needs something after being so nihilistic and critical all day long. Not to mention the break room always smells like mentaiko; anyone would be upset.
